Yoga Instructor

Henderly has been making wellness a way of life since 1990. She has been an avid student of aerobics, weight training, calisthenics and Tai Chi before she discovered and fell in love with yoga in 2003. Realizing her passion, she studied to become an instructor so she could share the benefits of yoga with others. She is now a Certified Yoga Realizing her passion for yoga and for helping people, Henderly became a teacher in order to share the benefits of yoga with others. She is a Certified Yoga Instructor through Scottsdale Community College, has a RYT200 Certificate, and a Certificate of Completion for Yoga for PTSD through SWIHA.Instructor through the Teaching Training Program at Scottsdale Community College and holds a RYT200 (Registered Yoga Teacher) Certificate.

Her teaching style is natural and organic. Starting with the basic class in mind, the session unfolds and grows into a class based on the needs of the students.

Weaving everyday life into the practice, the students come away from the class with simple, effective, easy-to-remember exercises which they can safely do anywhere, anytime.

Besides her passion for yoga, Henderly is also a hiking enthusiast, loves the outdoors and gardening, believes we can all make wellness a way of life, thinks it’s a good idea to prepare for critical incidents of any size, and enjoys helping others achieve their goals.

Come join us for a free, in-depth discussion and demo on the fundamentals of permaculture design. Our special guest speaker, Jake Reed, is a certified permaculture designer and will share many of his insights and outlooks on permaculture in both urban and rural areas.

Yoga Nidra - North Phoenix

6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Yoga Nidra means Yogic Sleep. It is a state of conscious Deep Sleep. In Yoga Nidra, you leave the Waking state, go past the Dreaming state, and go to Deep Sleep, yet remain awake.

Sunset Yoga - No Mat Required

6 p.m. - 7:15 p.m.
Yoga outside in nature, away from the city, topped with a sunset! You do not need your mat for this yoga practice.


Mar 6th

Yoga and Hike - Dog Friendly

5 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Warm up with some yoga, followed by a nice hike and more yoga before we leave.
